Welcome to the Old Dominion Theatre Organ Society!

The Old Dominion Theatre Organ Society (ODTOS), a Chapter of the American Theatre Organ
Society (ATOS), is dedicated to bringing together Virginians who share an interest in preserving,
promoting, and enjoying theatre organs.

January 1, 2017 - Welcome new officers!  See Leadership page for details.

October 9, 2016 - Our third Annual Meeting was held at the home of Joe and Susan Graif.  Joe
provided an excellent concert of movie themes through the years on his four manual Allen
theatre organ.  The election of officers for the next two years was held.  See the "Leadership"
web page for election results.

June 11, 2016 - Open console held at Byrd Theatre with Free State and Metrolina Theatre
Organ Societies.

April 23, 2016 - Chapter meeting followed by an excellent concert by Dave Wickerham at the
home of Jack and Mildred Hardman.

February 20, 2016 - Chapter meeting held at the home of Jim and Lynda Reinhart.  Click here

October 23, 2015 - Annual meeting held in conjunction with the Byrd Theatre's presentation of
the silent film "
Phantom of the Opera" with organ accompaniment by Michael Britt.

August 1, 2015 - A Carpenter Theatre open console, attended by 14 members and 15 guests,
was held on August 1.

May 17, 2015 - A Chapter meeting, attended by 16 members and four guests, was held at the
home of a member. Thanks to the many talented members who entertained us during our open

January 17, 2015 - Board of Directors sets annual dues.

November 1, 2014 - ODTOS receives IRS tax exempt status.

October 5, 2014 - First Annual Meeting held with concert by ATOS President Ken Double.

September 18, 2014 - ODTOS Bylaws approved by members.

September 3, 2014 - ODTOS established as a Virginia non-stock, nonprofit corporation.

July 8, 2014 - ODTOS receives American Theatre Organ Society Chapter Charter.

June 25, 2014 - Organizational Meeting and election of officers held.

May 19, 2014 - Old Dominion Theatre Organ Society web site begins operation.

April 9, 2014 - Delegate O'Bannon presents HJ395, Jack Hardman accepting on behalf of ATOS.

March 5, 2014 - Virginia General Assembly passes House Joint Resolution HJ395
Commemorating the 100th anniversary of the birth of Harold Leslie Warner, Jr.

February 22, 2014 - Richmond Times-Dispatch - Landmark Theater is now the Altria Theater
