The newest member of our Board of Directors, Robert Harding Lent, has graciously invited us to visit his home and workshop in Dayton, VA. Following in the footsteps of his father, Bob Lent (known to many of you), Robert recently established his own organ maintenance/restoration business and has already been involved in some very interesting projects! He also owns a number of instruments and consoles. He does excellent work and is going to show us how some of it is done. This is a rare opportunity to experience an operating organ workshop and also a chance to meet our new Director and his family.
In keeping with the idea that our three meetings each year each make a great excuse to get away for a weekend, Robert offers the following information:
Specific details will develop if enough interest is shown in making a weekend of it. Visitors are asked to park across the street from the Lent's home in the parking lot of Dayton United Methodist Church.
The meeting is open only to those whose membership is up to date and the maximum number of attendees is limited to 20. So, reservations are an absolute must! If you have not paid your dues, you may do so by clicking on the "Donate" button at the bottom of our homepage. You may make a reservation via email to info@odtos.org or by calling 703.380.8995
Robert's address will only be given to members upon making a reservation!
